Biographical history
Nora Myrtle Foreman, 1903-1995, emigrated to Calgary, Alberta with her parents in 1907 and was educated in the city. She attended Calgary Normal School and taught at Youngstown, Hanna and Arrowwood, Alberta. She married Milton H. Ward in 1925 and they ranched near Arrowwood. Myrtle was active in the Home and School Association, the United Farm Women of Alberta (UFWA) and the Associated Country Women of the World. She and Milton were both interested in local history.
