In 1913 Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Preston travelled by train from California to Vancouver, then east across Canada. During the trip both kept diaries in which they described places they passed through, including Glacier National Park, Lake Louise, Banff, Saskatoon, the Great Lakes and Toronto.
