Biographical history
Michael (or Michail) Schaab, 1871-1905, joined the North-West Mounted Police (NWMP) in 1891 and was stationed at Grenfell and Whitewood, Saskatchewan detachments in March 1894 and possibly into the next year. His predecessor there was Corporal Gravy. Schaab signed up for another year in 1896 and was discharged as a constable on May 20, 1897. He moved to the USA and died after a fall from a wagon in Wilbur, Washington.
