Biographical history
James Ferres was the son of the former owner of the Montreal Gazette. He was a writer and business man. Ferres died in Montreal in March of 1926.

Pamphlet was given to Margaret Harrop's mother, Miriam Rogers, by James Ferres in the early 20th century.
