Biographical history

Margaret Cuffling Bemus came to Canada from Leicester, England in 1893. She married Jonathan Cuffling, 1863-1901, in 1895 and they had four children, Thomas J., Harry D., William E., and Mrs. R.V. Howley. Margaret married Claud Henry Bemus in 1903. They moved to Turner Valley in 1906 and raised horses and cattle until they retired in 1933.
