  • Letters relating to publication of Single Gents Only in Malahat Review, No. 62, 1982; and discussing publication of the Malahat Review special issue on John Metcalf, No. 70, March 1985. Includes three photographs taken by Ron Baxter Smith, one of which was used on cover of the special issue; letters enclosing two manuscripts of Keith Garebian's critical essay published in the special issue as The Deflationary Structure in Metcalf's Novellas and manuscript of Keath Fraser's critical essay The Collector's Real, also published in the special issue. John Metcalf's letter with suggested revisions encloses one draft of K. Garebian's essay.
