History
Hans Maceij, 1928-2017, was born in Steglitz, Germany. He was an executive with the Canadian Petroleum Association for many years. Maceij was also very active in the sporting community over the years including a role as a founder of the Calgary Olympic Development Association. He was inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame, primarily for his work fostering tennis in the province. Maceij was married to Ingeborg, 1924-2016.
