        Fin Lineham, 1912-1996, was born in Riest, Alberta, near Youngstown. The family moved to Cochrane in 1917, to Okotoks in 1918, and finally to Turner Valley in 1927. It was in Turner Valley that Fin began his 50 years of work in the oil industry. He was first involved in construction, then beginning in the 1930s roughnecked and wildcatted for Royalite. In 1950 he and his brother, Jim, and Bob Kenyon started Kenyon's Oilfield Servicing. His other activities includes marketing the Eastland Tester, farming near Ellerslie, working for Lister Oilfield Welding, running the L & L Tug and Barge Company, and doing consulting work.
