Kenneth Eric Liddell, 1912-1975, was born in Regina, where he was raised and began his life-long career as a journalist. He worked for the Regina Leader-Post as a reporter and photographer from 1930 to 1949. He worked for the Edmonton Bulletin for a year before coming to Calgary in 1950 to work for the Calgary Herald.
