        Fredrick Arthur Levitt, 1914-2000, was born in Lethbridge, Alberta and served in the Royal Air Force and the Royal Canadian Air Force in the Second World War as a bomber and test pilot. As a youth he attended Lethbridge Collegiate and was active with Tuxis. He worked for Famous Players Limited for 53 years in Calgary, Alberta, serving as manager at various times for the Chinook Drive-in, Cinema Park Drive-in and the Sunset Drive-in. He was president and secretary of the Calgary Downtown Lions Club and was a life member of the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede. He and his wife Jean had one son, Rick.
