        Henry "Harry" Lee, 1893-1989, was born in New Eltham, England and came to Gleichen, Alberta in 1913. Lee soon moved to Calgary and he served overseas with the 30th Battalion from the city during the First World War. On his return he became a projectionist with Famous Players, including postings in Cranbrook and Kelowna, British Columbia. In Calgary he worked at the Grand Theatre, Isis Theatre, Strand Theatre and Variety Theatre. He was also well known in the city as an entertainer and amateur golfer. He and his wife May Walker had no children.
