Biographical history

Kenneth John Morrison, 1895-1976, was born in Scotland and his family came to Calgary in 1910. At the age of 15 he began working for the City of Calgary while studying accountancy. In 1923 he went into private practice with Frank M. Harvey. In the First World War he served as a Canadian soldier in Russia. During the Second World War he was chairman of the Dependents Board of Trustees, service that earned him an O.B.E. Mr. Morrison was active with the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants, Burns Club of Calgary, Community Chest, Wood's Christian Home, Calgary Chamber of Commerce, and many other Calgary associations.
