History
Frank Joseph Kelly grew up on a farm in Washington territory (1880-1890s). He lived in British Columbia 1900-1904 before becoming a miner 1906-1911, possibly in San Francisco, northern California, El Salvador and Colorado. He married his cousin Mary Elizabeth Kelly (1886-1958) in California in 1906.
The Kelly's later homesteaded near Hanna, Alberta (1912-1917) and moved briefly to Oregon in 1917 before settling on a farm near Hussar in 1918. Frank was school treasure of the area and delivered mail from Bassano, Alberta to various offices.
