Biographical history
Kate Reeves came to Calgary at the age of eighteen from New York. She is very active in the city, including service with the Chinook Country Historical Society, Historic Calgary Week, and the Heritage Advisory Board. She worked at Wild Rose United Church from 2002 to 2013, and since then has been an ambassador for the Calgary Municipal Land Corporation. She is the author or editor of Touring the Circuit : Exploring the Trails and Tales around Rundle's Mission, Pigeon Lake, Alberta (2002), Rosedale Stores : A Community Remembers (200), and Rosedale Walking Tour (2000). In 2012 she received a Lion Award for Lifetime Achievement from the Calgary Heritage Authority.
