Biographical history
Canadian playwright and actor John Murrell was born in Lubbock, Texas, on October 15, 1945. Came to Canada after receiving a B.F.A. in 1966. Biographical information available in The Oxford companion to Canadian theatre, 2nd ed., p. 779-780; and The Oxford companion to Canadian literature, p. 538-539.
