Biographical history
John Kaasa, 1895-[after 1981], was born in Minnesota, USA, and spent most of his life in the Canadian north. He was a captain of a Northern Transportation Co. boat in the 1930s. Beginning in the 1950s he gave lectures on his northern experiences. He and his wife had three children, Maynard, George and Martha (Dunlop).
