Biographical history
John Angus Macdonald, 1873-1952, was born at Glen Nevis, Ontario. He served in the South African War (Boer War) in the 2nd Special Services Battalion, Royal Canadian Regiment. He was roadmaster for Montreal Tramways/Montreal Transportation Commission for 53 years. He and his wife Mary MacDougall had four children, Mary (Robertson), Archie, Finlay and Jack.
