Biographical history
John Alfred Anderton, ?-1944, was born in Cochrane, Alberta and attended the Horsecreek School near there. In 1942 he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). He was promoted to Sergeant and became an air gunner. In 1944 he was killed when his plane crashed in France.
