Biographical history
Eugene Exton "Jimmy" Nicoll, 1881-1969, was born in England and came to Alberta in 1905. He ranched at Jumping Pound, near Springbank, with his brother Louis Eugene Nicoll, ?-1960, and later with his nephew John Harry Exton Nicoll, 1920- . He was a member of the Jumping Pound Stock Association. In 1911 he married Ada Winnifred Wills, 1886-1942. She was born in Wolff Island, Ontario and came to Springbank in 1892. In 1964 he retired to Calgary.
