Biographical history
Jean S. Angus, 1924-2003, was born and educated in Calgary, Alberta. From 1956 to 1986 she worked for Pacific Petroleums Ltd. and its successor companies, Westcoast Transmission and Westcoast Petroleum. She worked for George McMahon for many years and assisted him with the Calgary Stampeder Football Club. She was very active with the Desk and Derrick Club, and served as president in 1963. In the early 1960s she helped found the Calgary Sports Women's Association.

The fonds consists of records related to the Desk and Derrick Club, including a scrapbook of newspaper clippings, programs and photographs presented to her as president of the Desk and Derrick Club in 1963. Also consists of records related to the Sports Women's Association of Calgary and the Calgary Stampeder Football Club.
