Biographical history
Jean Fisher, 1909- , daughter of Joseph Fisher, was born in Calgary and raised on a ranch at Millarville, Alberta and in Calgary. In 1919 the family moved to Vancouver and later Victoria, British Columbia, returning to Calgary and Millarville in 1922. Jean married Tim Blakley in 1928 and they lived at Hoguiam, Washington and Tees, Alberta before returning to Millarville in 1935. They had four children. Jean was active as a local historian in the Milllarville area.
