Biographical history
Jascha Galperin, ?-1991, was a resident of Calgary, Alberta from 1925 until 1945. He taught music at Mount Royal College and later became head of the Conservatory of Music. He organized the Calgary Youth Symphony which later became the Calgary Symphony. He retired to Spokane, Washington, USA.
