Biographical history

Jan Krijff, 1947- , was born in the Netherlands and came to Calgary in 1968 where he attended the University of Calgary. He worked for CIBC in Resolute Bay before returning to the Netherlands to attend the University of Leiden where he received a degree in history. Krijff then settled in Vancouver. He published four books on Dutch connections to western Canada. His wife Karen Green is a lawyer and they in the Netherlands.
