      James & Reimer Ltd., a trucking company which specialized in hauling heavy equipment for the petroleum industry, was established in Calgary, Alberta in 1947. The principals were Robert A. James, who had founded a group of hauling, moving, and storage companies in 1923; and Jacob “Jake” Reimer. At its height, the company had offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Leduc, and Redwater. It went out of business by 1971.
