Biographical history
Jack Hackman was born in Ackerman, Bessarabia, Russia and came to Canada in 1906 with his family. They settled with other Jewish families near Rumsey, Alberta and later moved to Stettler and Calgary. He and his wife had at least one daughter, Miriam (Bloomberg).
