Biographical history
James Jack and his wife, Elizabeth Greig Hay, were born in Scotland and later moved to Calgary, Alberta. James worked for the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) and Elizabeth was active in lawn bowling. There is a bursary for nursing studies at the University of Calgary in her name. The Jack's had one son, William W. "Bill", 1923-2018, who married Jessie May Hughes, 1926-2018. Bill was a member of the Rotary Club and worked for Reggin Industries. He was also on the board of the Calgary Stampede and was involved with the SAIT apprenticeship program. Bill and Jessie founded the Inglewood Lawn Bowling Green. They had two daughters, Carolyn (Prellwitz) and Susan. Carolyn was a member of the Calgary YWCA Sharkettes Swim team.
