J.E. Evans was a photographer and postcard manufacturer from Walsingham and Port Rowan, Ontario, who was active from the 1920s to the 1950s. He produced postcard views of Alberta as well as of Eastern Canada.

Included are views of Barnwell, Bentley, Blackie, Coleman, Coutts, Drumheller, Edson, Elnora, Fort McMurray, Fort Vermilion, Grande Prairie, Grimshaw, Gull Lake, High River, Hussar, Lac La Biche, Lundbreck, Mundare, Olds, Vulcan, and Wainwright.
