Biographical history
James Delisle May, 1887-1961, came to Alberta from Barrie, Ontario while still an infant. Throughout his life he worked as a clerk and accountant for numerous businesses. He was active in local bands including the Fire Brigade Band, the 103rd Regiment Calgary Rifles Band, Calgary Citizens' Band, and the Elk's Concert Band, 1921-1940. His wife's name was Mary Helen, 1890-1978.
