Howard George Leslie, 1941- , the son of Joseph P. Leslie and Dorothy Chennells Leslie, was raised in Calgary. He graduated from Crescent Heights High School in 1959, then took architecture at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). His sister's name was Marilyn.
