History
Ken Hoeppner, 1948- , was educated at the University of Saskatchewan and the University of Calgary where he received his doctorate in English in 1984. He taught at the University of Calgary and Medicine Hat College before becoming a professor of English at Mount Royal College/Mount Royal University in Calgary. He was also associate vice-president of research. Hoeppner moved to Golden, British Columbia where he was affiliated with the College of the Rockies, located in Cranbrook. He was the author of several books and articles on Canadian literature and also The Ordinary Genius: A Life of Arnold Platt, in 2007.
