Biographical history
Henry Albert Edward Crane, 1887-1951, joined the North-West Mounted Police (NWMP) in January 1909 and purchased his discharge in February 1912. He re-engaged in June 1919 but again purchased his discharge in October 1919. He subsequently served in the Saskatchewan Provincial Police, Alberta Provincial Police, and Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). He retired in 1938, and died in Victoria, British Columbia.
