History
Renie Gross, 1936- , was born in Brooks, Alberta and grew up in nearby Tilley. After several years living in Edmonton, Germany, New Brunswick, Washington, D.C. and Toronto she returned to live near Wardlow, Alberta. After a career in public relations she began researching and writing a series of books on the local history of her community, including Tapping the Bow (1985), Dinosaur Country : Unearthing the Bandland's Prehistoric Past (1985), and Groundwork : Carl Anderson, Farm Crusader (1998). She and her husband Bob had two son, Paul and Tony. They retired to Edmonton, Alberta.
