History
Richard Gregory, a social worker, was an activist in the gay and lesbian community of Calgary, Alberta. He was active in the Rocky Mountain Singers, a gay and lesbian choral group, and was its president for several years. In 1998 he ran unsuccessfully for alderman in the Calgary civic election. In 1999 he moved to Medicine Hat, Alberta.
