Canadian poet. G. L. Aitkens, née Chadderdon, born in Lexington, Minnesota in 1891. Emigrated to Alberta in 1914. Poetry published in periodicals and/or anthologies in the United States, England, Belgium and Italy and in poetry collection Ponderings in print.

Fonds consists of newsclippings and four loose leaf binders containing poetry manuscripts and clippings of published poems.

The poems have been intellectually listed in alphabetical order with their file numbers noted. Poems from files 2 and 4 were pasted in published form into the booklets. Poems from file 1 are typescript; poems from file 3 are mimeographed. Many poems are duplicated between files 1 and 4.
