        Grace Gibson, 1896-1989, was born in London, England and in 1917 married a Canadian soldier, Donald Neil McLeod, ?-1917. She moved to Alberta in 1918 and married William Henry Gough, ?-1977. She organized two groups of wives of veterans: Remembrance Association / Silver Cross Women, Calgary Chapter, and Wives and Widows of 1914-1918 Veterans Association. She was also active in the 50th battalion ladies auxiliary, the Legion and the Army and Navy League. She and her husband had three children, C. James, ?-1941, Ernest Albert, 1925-2004, and Vera (Gelinas).
