Biographical history

Gladys "Micky" Fisher, 1914-2002, was born in Alberta and graduated from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary with a certificate in mechanical drafting. Members of her family lived in the Bashaw, Alberta district. In 1967 she received an education degree and taught school in Calgary. She was a member of the Business Education Council, Alberta Teacher's Association and was a director of the Administrative Management Society. Gladys married Phillip Battrum, ?-1999 and they had two children, Sylvia Elizabeth and Thomas.

Archival history

This collection left with Calgary appaiser Brian Lehman who donated it to Glenbow with the approval of the Battrum family.
