Biographical history
George Ernest Combe, 1908-1986, was born in Scotland, lived for some time in Palmerston, Ontario and in the late 1920s worked for Canadian National Railways. He joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) in 1932. Among the places he served were Vegreville, Alberta and Resolution, NWT. He took his discharge from the force in 1941, and died at Fort Smith.
