Biographical history
George Cuthbert, [ca. 1868]-1927, accompanied his parents and siblings from Orangeville, Ontario to establish a homestead near Pierson, Manitoba in 1887. Later that year he acquired a neighbouring homestead of his own, which he farmed for the rest of his life. In 1900 he married Theresa Pummell (d. 1919), and they had six children. In 1920 he married Phoebe Dandy (d. 1962).
