Biographical history
Fred Brown, 1921-1990, was born in England and trained as a plumber. In 1941 he enlisted in the Royal Air Force and was posted in Canada from 1942 to 1944 with the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. He returned to England where he resumed his career as a plumber. He and his wife, Nora Stait, ?-1984 were married in 1945 and had one daughter, Anne (Cowie).
