Frank Wesley Dabbs has been a professional journalist, author and editor in Alberta and Ontario since 1967. He has worked in print journalism as a reporter, editor and columnist on the staff of newspapers and as a freelancer. He has also worked as a reporter in radio and as a program host in television. He has written four books, contributed to three and researched for or edited four more. In a parallel career in corporate communications, he has worked for the Liberal Party of Canada, TransCanada Pipelines, and National Public Relations. In 2012, Frank launched Words and Ideas Creative Ltd., which writes and participates in producing radio and television scripts on petroleum and western Canadian history. He works for the Mountain View Gazette in Disbury, Alberta.
