Biographical history
Frances Jane Williams, 1920-1989, was born in Bassano, Alberta, near the Blackfoot reserve where her father was an agricultural instuctor. In 1942 she married Frank Fraser, and they farmed on the Little Bow, southeast of High River. They had three children, Margery (Stickler), Alex and Gordon. Fran was very knowledgeable about local history, and she collected this material about the history of the Milo-Queenstown area.

The collection consists of brief histories of the Milo Farm Women's Union of Alberta (FWUA), the influenza epidemic at Milo, and the Ku Klux Klan in the Milo area; interviews with Milo and Majorville area pioneers, including Clifford N. Clarke and C. Elmer Dovey; and photographs of Lake McGregor school and Milo UFA.
