      E. H. Carson Forbes, 1912-, was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland and immigrated to Canada in 1931. He became a licensed auto mechanic. Forbes joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1940 as a flight sergeant and was posted at Fort Macleod, Alberta to the bomber pilot training centre. After service in England, Italy and Germany he returned to Toronto where he and his wife Betty, ?-2015, raised three children.
