Mabel Fleming, [?-after 1962], grew up in Lacombe, Alberta and trained as a teacher. She was the first school teacher in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, 1912-1914. She then became the first high school teacher at Rimbey, Alberta. She married Sinclair Mellis, a farmer near Rimbey.
