This collection was compiled by Dan de Vlieger, a Glenbow staff member, who was commissioned to undertake research on Alberta ethnic groups during the summer of 1960. He gathered information on these groups: Blacks, Doukhobors, Dunkards, French, Hutterites, Icelanders, Iroquois, Mennonites, Moravians, Norwegians, Swabians, Swiss, and Ukrainians.
