July 2005 - the following items were added to the collection following a visit by Ms. Ethel King-Shaw (see also 2005.058 for other records donated): UA beanie hat in the green and gold colors of the University of Alberta, a silver dish given to her in appreciation of her role as Staff Advisor of the Wauneita Society 1959-1960, and a fountain pen marble stand with the initials EUS for Education Undergraduate Society 1956-1957 of which Ms. King-Shaw was also an advisor (KB).

Collection consists of MacEwan Hall Extension sod-turning button; University coat of arms; Celebration of Excellence programmes and sound recordings of event (1988, 1990, 1992); ribbon commemorating Physical Education Building opening; Miss U of C musical score and lyrics (1965); and photo of Peter Krueger, Murray Fraser, and Donovan Williams (1989); Learned Conference pins, mugs, carry-bag and notebook (1993-1994); plaque presented to President Cochrane (1977); A.W.R. Carrothers scholarship scroll (1969); Nursing uniforms, pins, sleeve patches, Nursing bag (nd); 25th Anniversary pins, t-shirts, plaques, ribbons and framed proclamation from the city (1992); beanies, material on student elections, Color Night, Glee Club and Wauneita Society (c.1960's); 70 posters and postcards advertising the University of Calgary [1971-1984], five ceremonial keys from the Board of Governors, a University Seal.
