Biographical history

Edythe Yates, 1901-1997, was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and about 1921 married newspaper editor-writer Geoffrey Yates. They lived in many Canadian cities and towns including Saskatoon, Vancouver, Winnipeg, and several centres in northern Quebec and Ontario. The Yates retired to Ottawa. While working for the Winnipeg Tribune the Yates met Long Lance.
