Biographical history
Edward H. Phillips, ?-1954, was trained as a Dominion Land Surveyor and conducted railway surveys in the Crowsnest Pass (between Alberta and British Columbia) and along the main line of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR). In 1910 Phillips helped found the Saskatchewan Land Surveyors Association and he set up in Saskatoon in partnership with Mr. Stewart as a civil engineer and land surveyor. He retired about 1952. Phillips had at least one son, Edward K.
