- Files consist of notes and early drafts of Chapters 1-3 of unpublished novel co-written by Christie Harris and her son Gerald Harris.
- Folders 1-3 consist of holograph notes transcribed from audio tapes made by Gerald Harris and several drafts of Chapters 1-3 respectively including draft of each Chapter sent to Jean E. Karl, Christie Harris's editor at Atheneum. Chapter 1 "completed and mailed to Jean K. July 12, 1982"; Chapter 2 "finished and mailed July 26, 1982." All three Chapters were returned by J.E. Karl September 28, 1982;
- Folder 1 includes repository photocopy of letter (1982 September 28), from J.E. Karl to Christie Harris commenting on the manuscript.
- Folder 4 consists of copies of Chapters 1-3 mailed to Gerald Harris September 20, 1982, and includes a "rough outline of what happens after Chapter 3."
