History
Jack Downey was a businessman in Calgary. In the 1980s he was very concerned about Holocaust denial by Jim Keegstra and others and tried to raise awareness of the issue through letter-writing and other efforts. He also sponsored students to travel to Europe to visit Holocaust sites first-hand. He corresponded with M. J. Silverman of Winnipeg who had compiled a scrapbook of newspaper clippings about Jim Keegstra.
