Biographical history

Dora Quon (Foo), 1923-1973, was born in Calgary, the daughter of Quon Liang, 1881-1958, and Quon Ng Shee, 1890-1962. Her family included Alice (Louie-Byne), 1916-2017, Roy, 1920-1936, Diamond, 1922-1945, Mary, 1926-2012, and Chung "Kay Kay", 1928-2013. Dora trained as a nurse in Lamont, Alberta and worked at the Calgary General Hospital. She and her husband Ed Foo had several children including Betty (Bywater).
